They should also cite the shopping cart thieves for taking the shopping carts outside of the store parking lot or at least talk to them and tell them that what they are doing is a crime of misdemeanor. We should have a small police station in Mira Mesa near the fire station or near the teen center overlooking Mira Mesa Blvd or at the Little League park. The police should also patrol the neighborhood parks at night after dusk when they are supposed to be closed because I've seen teens loitering there. I appreciate the police, RSVPs and the fire/emergency rescue personnel in Mira Mesa. I am very thankful that the police is patrolling Mira Mesa.
