Have you been to the new Trader Joe’s located on the east side of the I-15? They had their grand opening ceremonies on Friday, and are now open for business. If you want even fresher produce, you can always take a field trip out to the Mira Mesa Farmers Market located in front of the Mira Mesa High School. The Farmers Market is open every Tuesday, from 3-7 p.m.

Do you want to do something positive for your community? Join us this Saturday, May 30 at Hickman Elementary as our Mira Mesa HEROES will spruce up the Elementary School with a Beautification Make-Over. Any volunteers can just show up, and we will put you to work as we give the school a much needed touch up. Refreshments will be provided, and it really is a fun time and great team effort. We begin at 8:00 a.m. and finish by noon. Hickman Elementary is located at 10850 Montongo Street.
