Swine Flu Confirmation causes Christ the Corner Stone Academy to temporarily close in Mira Mesa.
Here are some facts and tips about the Swine Flu:
The disease’s symptoms resemble those of seasonal flu – fever, sore throat, cough, congestion, chills, headache, body aches and fatigue. Some patients also report diarrhea and vomiting.
Swine flu can lead to pneumonia or respiratory failure and worsen chronic health problems. If you have symptoms, stay home and see your doctor only if you have a serious case.
Wash your hands often with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds or use alcohol-based cleansers.
Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze, and then discard the tissue. Or use your upper sleeve – not your hands.
