Talent and Dance Showcase at the UCSD Mandeville, Feb. 21

The UCSD Mandeville will feature a talent and dance showcase on February 21, 2009, with proceeds to benefit homeless teens in our area.

CStar Productionz’ annual talent show “ALL 4 U”, offers a rich blend of traditional, cultural dances from ancient times, to modern day jazz and hip hop of the present. Singers and vocalist groups will add soul to the evening as they sing some of our favorite tunes. It is entertainment for all ages, as the performers range from 4 to 60 years old. THERE IS SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE AT THIS SHOW!
Christopher Estrella is the director and founder of C-Star Productionz. Though he has been dancing, choreographing, and teaching hip hop for over ten years, he has a deep appreciation for all styles of dance. His vision is twofold: 1. To give performers the opportunity to live out their passions, and 2. To give homeless teenagers the chance to live a better life. After discussing his dream, Christopher also added: “I love watching the smile on the faces of the audience – it is one of the more fulfilling parts of my job.”
Jeffery Sitcov, founder of Photocharity, is trying to raise $1 million in 2009 for his latest project: “The House of Hope” – a home for homeless young adults ages 18-24. Currently, there is no facility for this age group in San Diego and there is an estimated 5000 of these young people sleeping on the streets every night. The All 4 U showcase will donate a portion of its proceeds to help build this home where they will receive shelter and learn job and life skills that were never acquired.
Uniting Photocharity and C-star Productionz together will help each achieve their goals, and your attendance can make this happen. So come and support a good cause and join the fun!!!!
