Spring Break is less than two weeks away, and I am sure that not everyone has found something for their kids to do during the week if their parents still have to go to work. I just found out about a great 4 day course that is both fun for the kids, and will benefit their mental and physical health.
I would like to bring to your attention a Spring ART Excel Course (All Round Training in Excellence) for kids ages 8-13 years old, organized by the Art of Living Foundation (AOLF) — the world’s largest non-profit, non-governmental organization. The course will be held from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. April 6-9 at Miramar College, A-111, 10440 Black Mountain Road, San Diego, CA. 92126. The fee for the four day course is only $175.
During this highly interactive program children will learn keys to success through fun interactive games that reinforce human values and teach valuable lessons on how to work and play with their peers in harmony. Children will also learn yoga and simple breathing techniques for good mental and physical health. At the end of the course, Children demonstrate improved creativity, memory, clarity of mind and interaction with peers. They become more self-expressive and develop a sense of belongingness even with diverse groups of people.
The ART Excel courses have been offered to New York Inner-City schools and Los Angeles Unified School District schools with great success. References available by request. For Course information and registration, please call 866-626-5373 or email sandiego@artofliving.org,or to find out more about the ART Excel program, visit the website.
