I have lived in Mira Mesa for 37 years and this year’s fireworks display was one of the best I have seen in a long time. All the people around us had nothing but positive things to say about the fireworks too. Great job Mira Mesa Community 4th of July Committee, and Scripps Mesa Fireworks, Inc., plus everyone else that was involved in making the entire day great.

We were not able to see the parade, as we were in it, but I heard it was great too! We had a lot of fun seeing all the people on the parade route and everyone seemed very happy to get of the cold water we were handing out, and the kids were chasing us down to get Frisbees. All in all it was a great day.

I videotaped the fireworks display and posted the finale below, for those of you that missed it.
