On condition that you have done local community events, a letter of recommendation or certificate from a community leader or group is acceptable.

Committee Judging Process:

Letters of recommendation are considered only after the essay has been selected to be one of the final best entries. Each student’s paper will remain anonymous via a numbering system. Community Leaders / members of the Scholarship Committee will read your papers. Judging is based on quality of your experience, not on quantity. Six scholarship finalists will be selected. Winners and their respective school will be notified by phone.

At that time we would like you to tell us a little about your community spirit and where you will continue your education.
